I was born in Utah, where I grew up surrounded by opportunities to explore art. My father taught at a community college and made it possible for me to attend summer art classes there as a youth. He also arranged private tutoring with college art students, giving me a foundation that deeply shaped my love for creating.
While still in high school, I opened a small screen-printing business, which became my first real venture into producing artwork professionally.
In my twenties, while working as an executive chef, I began to notice a tremor in my hands—something that made detailed, traditional painting increasingly difficult. Though it was discouraging, I redirected my creative energy into ice carving, where I could continue expressing myself artistically.
Years later, during recovery from surgery, I discovered digital painting software. It offered stabilization tools that compensated for my shaky hands and allowed me to return to painting in a way I hadn’t thought possible. That discovery changed everything.
It has long been my desire to share the impressions that come to me when I read the Book of Mormon, my favorite book. I feel incredibly blessed to have found a medium that allows me to create again, and I’m deeply grateful to the developers of the tools that made this journey back to painting possible.
Each print is produced on artist-grade canvas using fade-resistant archival inks, ensuring rich, lasting color and exceptional clarity. The canvas is stretched over solid wood stretcher bars and finished as a 1.25" thick gallery wrap, providing a clean and modern presentation suitable for any home or office.
To maintain continuity around the edges, every piece features a soft image-blur wrap. This method creates a seamless transition around the sides of the canvas without cropping or distorting the artwork.
Each canvas arrives ready to hang, equipped with a sawtooth hanger for simple wall mounting.
